Our interpretation

Don Quixote rides again. Minkus and Petipa meet a playful visual world that brings the great family ballet to new audiences.

The production

The production preserves academic rigour while creating a direct, festive and deeply theatrical experience. It restores the spirit of Cervantes, returns Don Quixote and Sancho to the centre, and turns dance into dramatic fabric, popular imagination, humour and burlesque.
