Our interpretation

A dwarf’s vulnerability, flamenco and live music tell an impossible love story in the Barcelona shaped by migration from southern Spain.

The production

Curro is a dwarf waiter, wounded by impossible love, who claps along at a Paral·lel tablao. On Midsummer Night in 1963, music, song, dance and alcohol open a space of youth and excess among the shacks of Montjuïc.
